The World Architecture Festival is where the world architecture community meets to celebrate learn, exchange and be inspired. It is the only architecture event where keynote talks from the industry's most influential figures sit alongside live crit presentations and judging of over 550 award finalists, global networking, a 550 project strong gallery and an international product exhibition.

Speakers' and Judges' Lounge
The ABB & Busch-Jaeger Judges’ Lounge is exclusively for speakers and judges. A space to relax and network, lunch and refreshments will be served throughout the festival.
Closing Gala dinner
We will be celebrating and networking at the grand finale on the final evening at the historic Beurs van Berlage venue!
WAF Secret Village
This year we welcome you to join our WAF 2019 Amsterdam Secret Village! Reguliersdwarsstraat (between Koningsplein - Vijzelstraat), will be opened for your enjoyment in a night of festivities where you can visit multiple bars and restaurants.

Make sure you save some time for the extensive and stimulating WAF Fringe events including the Amsterdam Architectural Tours and the MaterialDistrict Pop-up where you can browse from carefully selected, innovative materials from 100 material brands all over the world.

WAF’s exclusive tours will open up a new Amsterdam perspectives by presenting cutting-edge spaces and hard-to-find architecture gems.
The Architecture Drawing Prize
Brought to you by Make, Sir John Soane's Museum and WAF, this prize recognises the continuing importance of hand drawing but also embraces creative use of digitally produced renderings. The finalists drawings will be showcased at WAF.
The Architectural Photography Awards
The Architectural Photography Awards aims to put the focus onto the skill and creativity of the photographer. Shortlisted photographs for the Architectural Photography Awards 2019 will be exhibited in the Festival Hall.
