World Architecture Festival takes place on the 23-25 June 2021 in Lisbon. The WAF live event is where the world architecture community meets to celebrate, learn, exchange and be inspired.
It is the only architecture event where keynote talks from the industry's most influential figures sit alongside live crit presentations from 530+ award finalists, global networking and an international product exhibition.

The Architecture Drawing Prize

Brought to you by Make, Sir John Soane's Museum and WAF, this prize recognises the continuing importance of hand drawing but also embraces creative use of digitally produced renderings. The finalists drawings will be showcased at WAF.

AREA Awards

The Architectural Review Emerging Architecture awards will return to the annual World Architecture Festival in Amsterdam. Launched in 1999, the AREA awards grant early recognition to young designers and celebrate the architectural stars of tomorrow.
