Born : Southend-on-Sea , England 1936

Studied sat Bournemouth College of Art and The Architectural Association in London – the ‘AA’. Graduated 1960

Produced the first ‘Archigram’ pamphlet with David Greene – in 1961

Won first competition – for old peoples’ housing – in 1962

Started as regular critic at the AA -1962

Effective formation of the ‘Archigram Group’ – 1964

‘Plug-in City’ -1964

Started teaching at the AA – 1964  First US teaching : UCLA – 1968

Chairman : Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL London 1990 -2006

Emeritus Professorships : University College London/ Royal Academy London/Staedelschule Frankfurt)

Projects :Archigram wins Monte Carlo Competition – 1970

Forms ‘Art Net’ – 1972
