Marta Bohlmark is an architect and urban planner based in Stockholm, Sweden, where she has spent the last ten years at the sustainability driven firm White arkitekter. Now proceeding within her own firm, she is focusing on large scale projects with social and ecological sustainability as a red thread through her work. She has also specialized on Architecture processes and how to methodologically create holistic processes for multi-disciplinary teams, and how to involve the public and clients in co-creative processes. She is educated in Royal Institute of Architecture in Stockholm and CUHK, Hong Kong, and has applied her work on urban development projects in the Asian, African and European context. She has been teaching in the Urban Studio at the Royal institute of Stockholm. Her work also extends to organizing grass-root driven city development in her home town, the medieval city center, in Stockholm. She has been on the team for several local and international competitions among which she was elected as an exhibitioner for the Hong Kong Shenzhen Biennale, and 2019 received the WAF-award within the category Future Culture with the GoDown Art Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
