Arquitectura Anna Noguera
Anna Noguera was born in Girona (Catalonia, Spain) in 1961. She graduated in architecture in 1987 at the ETSAB (Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona) and realized the doctorate studies based on “The sense of modern architecture”. After 3 years of professional collaboration with Elias Torres and Jose Antonio Martinez Lapeña architects’ studio, she established its own firm in Barcelona in 1992. From 1996 to 2000 Anna Noguera was also responsible of the Culture Department at the Official Architects Association in Girona. The areas of expertise at Anna Noguera architect’s studio cover a broad array of services including housing, schools, hospitals, churches, offices, landscaping, outdoor spaces as well as interior design. In recent years the office has taken part in several tourism projects at international level in addition to the refurbishment of historical buildings. The work of Anna Noguera puts special emphasis on the integration of buildings into the landscape, sustainability and respect for the environment and local traditions, along with attention to detail throughout the entire project. Under this philosophy, the office has received several awards, both in design competitions and for work already built.
