Is an architect designer and academic he is Associate Dean for Architecture Interior Design Environment Architectures and Urban Landscape architecture , Student Experience and Engagement, International Liaison and Special Projects, at Ravensbourne University London. And is the founder of Desitecture a research based practice
In creating a new range of degree courses in the subject areas of Architecture Urban landscape , Interior IDEA and Environment with their distinct qualities he has brought industry and societal aspirations to impact the development of these design subjects. And as Chairman of the UK Interior Educators the national academic subject group whilst working as an international external advisor, validator, judge and critic with organisations ELIA , IFI , Cumulus and as a UNESCO, Union of International Architects , RIBA visiting Panel member and validator.
Through Desitecture his research based group he considers and produces solutions for the design of cities and their construction , based on applied research on polyculture and the development of emergent technologies and materials, reconsidering the city as a responsive participant in society, through internationally exhibited, presentations and debate and published projects , Vertical City , Osteon Cumulus Aero City Towers and Linearpolis.
A changing society, new communication modes and the time fueled change across the world has given the work a platform at a wide range of international conferences currently including the Hong Kong Vertical Cities and Singapore high density development conferences and the World Architecture Festival, Asia Design Platform and the 2019 Venice Biennale European Culture Foundation exhibitions where high density living and innovation are at the forefront of the global debate on space and sustainability.
