Friedrich Ludewig, a founding Director of ACME, studied at the Technical University and Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin and
obtained his Diploma with Honours (Arch) from the Architectural Association in 2001. Until 2007, he worked as an Associate
Director at FOA prior to establishing ACME, where he was responsible for a wide range of projects including Umraniye Meydan
Istanbul, John Lewis in Leicester, the London 2012 Olympic Park Masterplan and BBC Music Centre. Projects at ACME provide
a wealth of experience in masterplanning, CBD and mixed-used developments including Minories Offices, Hotel & Residential,
City of London, UK; Victoria Gate Leeds Retail and Public Realm, UK; Bishopsgate Goodsyard Offices, Retail, Residential &
Parkland, London, UK; Meydan Umraniye Shopping Centre & Public Realm, Istanbul; Trinity Minories, City of London, UK;
New Shires Development, Leicester; SAB Federal Bank of Saxony Office HQ, Leipzig, Germany. ACME has worked on over
190 projects in 24 countries and currently has 75 architects based in London and Berlin.
