Nikita Yaveyn is recognised as one of Russia’s leading architects. He was born in 1954. After graduating from Engineering and Construction Institute (1977) Nikita Yaveyn accumulated extensive experience in several design institutions. In 1991 he launched an architectural practice of his own. In 1994 Nikita Yaveyn become a chairman of Committee on State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Landmarks. In 2003 he left the post to concentrate entirely on his architectural practice. Yaveyn is the originator of more than 190 projects in various cities and regions of Russia and a quarter of which have been implemented.
