Homa Farjadi is principal of Farjadi Architects London, and Professor in Practice of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. Homa received her Masters in architecture with distinction from Tehran University, Graduate Diploma (hons) in Architecture History and Theory from the AA School of Architecture London, and a masters of history of Film and Visual Media from Birkbeck College, London University She has taught at the AA Diploma School 1980-88, and was Associate Professor of Architecture at Graduate School of Design, Harvard, 1990-97. She has held visiting chairs at Yale- Eero Saarinen Professor- as well as William H Bishop Professor, at University of Pennsylvania ,Bruce Graham Chair, Columbia University, at Karlsruhe, Edinburgh University among others. Farjadi has served as Master Jury for the Agha Khan Award for architecture as well as other international awards. She Has been external examiner of many international schools of architecture, Cambridge University, Bath and Edinburgh, Hong Kong Universities. Her projects in Britain, the United States, and Asia have received awards and are widely published and exhibited. FA work has been exhibited at Harvard, MOMA New York, Walker Art Center, Barcelona Museum of Art, London Architecture Foundation and has been part of travelling shows in international museums. Sense Formations, a monograph on the work of Farjadi Architects, was published in 2009 by Actar publications. A monograph of the work of Homa Farjadi and Mohsen Mostafavi, entitled Delayed Space, was published by Princeton Architectural Press in 1994. FA project was the single UK project selected in The Un-private House, a Moma Publication of the houses of the millenium. Logic Visuelle, published in 2001, features their two projects built in Tokyo for the exhibition of Louis Vuitton.
