For the first time the World Architecture Festival 2020 will be held in Lisbon and we are excited to introduce the architecture walking tours which will be covering Lisbon’s most relevant areas, with recent urban developments and architectural interventions.

OPTION 1 - Pombaline Lisbon and the work by Siza in Chiado

During this tour we explore the origins and the developments of Pombaline Lisbon, the city’s most important historic ensemble, built under the direction of Marquis de Pombal, following the devastating 1755 earthquake, and partially renovated by Álvaro Siza Vieira after the fire of 1988.
