Travel
By plane
Barcelona is the arrival and departure point for flights from around the world. El Prat airport is located 13 kilometres south-east of Barcelona and 20 kilometres from the CCIB. www.aena.es
By taxi
The journey to the CCIB and surrounding hotels takes about 20 minutes. The average price for a taxi to the venue is € 25.
There is an additional cost for entry / exit from the airport and for carrying luggage.
By train
There is a train (Line no. 10) every 30 minutes between the airport and the city centre (Paseo de Gracia) and the travel time is 25 minutes. From the train station Paseo de Gracia it is easy to connect with the metro (line 4/yellow). The closest station to the CCIB is Maresme- Forum.

The venue
The World Architecture Festival is taking place at Barcelona’s flagship convention centre, the Centro de Convenciones Internacionales de Barcelona. Designed by renowned Spanish architect José Luis Mateo, the venue combines state-of-the-art design with the latest technology. Situated on the seafront, 15 minutes from the city and in the centre of the unique Diagonal Mar development, the venue is a business, retail and residential hub.
