Judging
The Jury
- The decision of the jury is final.
- The jury reserves the right to re-classify, re-categorise or reject any entry that does not comply with the requirements of the competition.
- Details of the Jury meetings will not be disclosed.
- No correspondence will be entered into by the organisers or the judges regarding feedback on entries.
- Judges will be asked to declare an interest and remove themselves from the process if they are asked to judge an entry that poses a conflict of interest.
Shortlisted entries
- Shortlisted entrants will be notified in writing by 31 July 2009.
- Architects of shortlisted buildings MUST attend the Festival to present their building to the jury to be able to win. This is non-negotiable
- Presentation live at the Festival
- Entrants should be aware that if a scheme is shortlisted, someone from the architectural practice MUST attend the Festival and be prepared to give a ten minute presentation about the building/project.
- The presenter must be part of the design team and will be expected to use one of the delegate passes purchased as part of the entry price.
